About Us
Berkeley International Services was created back in 2017, as only an idea. Since then, we have re-located to a more centralised location in England, increased the number of business partners and expanded the business model to what everyone knows it as today. Today, the BIS team have over 10 years of experience in Business, Sales and Exhibition operations.
BIS specialises in a few different key areas; Warehouse, Logistics, Dropship and Exhibitions. These sectors unite to create an efficient and sleek business model, allowing us to excel in our line of business.
Best of all, we wont ask you to do a single thing. Berkeley International Services have teams of dedicated sales, warehouse and customer service staff, as well as graphic designers, administrators and account managers, to make your experience with us as smooth and as effortless as possible. Storage
Berkeley International Services offers your company a UK local warehousing system centrally based in Coventry, England. We provide Storage services for all types of products, for both short and long term.
Pick and Pack
Whether you are simply transferring your items or shipping them out to customers, our trained warehouse staff will Pick and Pack your goods, as well as offering a re-package and re-label service if your items need it.
Disposal Service
Damages can occur during transit, sometimes there is no way around it. Let BIS take the headache away for you and remove any damaged goods offsite and dispose of them to avoid additional storage fees.
Dispatch
Berkeley International Services offers Express Delivery to UK and EU Zones, with the UK Delivery being usually within 24-48 Hours, regardless of the package/pallet size.
Our Couriers
Berkeley International are currently working with 8 UK Couriers. As a result, we can dispatch all product types, sizes and volumes. Single or Bulk packages per address is available.
Imports
Here at Berkeley, we accept National and International imports into our UK Warehouse, for both Sea Freight and Air Cargo shipments.
Once your goods arrive in the UK, they will be collected and delivered to our Warehouse by our trained staff. With Sea Freight imports, we also provide the Container booking service, as well as Inland Delivery and Container Offloading into our UK warehouse.
What is Dropship and how does it work?
Bought
The Customer purchases your item that is listed on our Dropship Platforms.
Shipped
The purchased item is dispatched from our UK Warehouse to the Customer.
Delivered
Our UK/EU express courier delivers the item to the customer, quickly and safely.
Paid
Once BIS has been paid from the Platform, you will be paid within 7 days.
Dropship
For all items that you would like Berkeley to sell on your behalf, we will aim to list them on all of our Dropship Ecommerce Platforms.
Most of our partners are Standard, static online stores that sell your items 24/7. This type of platform is more convenient and consistent.
Whereas our Flash Sale partners list your items periodically, which lasts anything between a few days to a month. This type of platform is more selective on the types of items they want to list, but the payoff is potentially greater.
Our Dropship Partners
Our Dropship connections span across Local, Independent and National Ecommerce platforms, reaching all types of consumers. As of August 2019, BIS currently have 25 Dropship partners and counting, but as they say, it’s the quality, not the quantity that counts and we believe we have that quality. We are working with some of the biggest UK Ecommerce names, with more coming shortly.
Promotions
Whilst maximising margins is ideal, product Promotions are necessary to meet certain quotas and clear stock. BIS will periodically create promotions for this very reason. An End of Season Clearance is another type of promotion we have, that is typically for seasonal items, that may not have sold as well during their peak time of year.
However, if you would like to opt out of these services or customise your promotions in advance, we’ll be happy to oblige.
Your Payment
Once we have received payment from the Dropship Vendor, BIS will send your payment of the sold goods back to you within 7 days.
However, please note that each Dropship Platform has different payment plan periods. Some are Proforma and some of the bigger name platforms can take anything up to 30 days or even longer for BIS to receive the payment.
Exhibitions
Berkeley International Services has over 10 Years of Exhibition experience in both the UK and EU. The main goal of an Exhibition is to make new business connections and gain potential leads.
Once your item(s) are in our UK warehouse, we can take them to annual Exhibitions. Trade Shows are a great way of getting your products out there for everyone to see. It’s one thing to see the item online but another thing entirely to experience the quality of the item in person.
Brochures
As well as taking physical items, BIS aim to take product brochures to each event to give away to potential business partners. We can add your items in our brochures, to further promote your products. Beautiful live photos with further product information can really enhance the interest of potential clients.
